Hello! My name is Sara and I’m the mastermind behind “Pardon the Mess”
PTM started out as a personal blog where I wrote book and product reviews, talked a bit about my family, ect., but now that I am an official digital scrapbooking designer, Pardon the Mess is my home for that too.
A little about me: I am a stay-at-home mother to two sons and one daughter. I married my high school sweetheart and we’ve been happily married for 10 years. We make our home in Georgia.
How did I get into designing digital scrapbooking supplies you ask? I started out my stay-at-home-mom career making kids jewelry to sell. That didn’t go over as well as I’d hoped, so I started supplementing with website and graphic design, which eventually became my full-time gig (Sara’s Pixel Studio).
I’ve always enjoyed paper scrapping so when I discovered the wide world of digital scrapping I was hooked! Already having the programs and the graphic skills I dove into designing. That was a while ago, but in June 2011 I started whipping out kits worthy to be displayed in public.
Nowadays I find myself drawn more and more to creating things to reuse in creating kits so my business has expanded to include commercial use (aka Designer Resource) items.
I enjoy a vast array of crafty things like baking and cake decorating, photography, reading and writing inspirational fiction and I love all things techie, iPhone/iPad and computer related.
Thank you so much for wanting to learn about me and taking time to visit my blog! I love to hear from my visitors and customers — comments make my day — and I would L-O-V-E to see what you do with my designs!
